My dad suggested sending both my brother and me to New Zealand, and Teacher Zack recommended NZ Study to our parents. After researching information about New Zealand, they decided it would be beneficial for us to study abroad there. Initially, I was afraid to go to another country without our parents, but I believed it would be a valuable experience for personal growth. So, I began by researching everything we needed to know, including the distance from home to school.
On the first day, the host family met us at school and took us home. They provided lunch and dinner, taking care of everything for us. On weekends, they would ask if I wanted to go anywhere. If so, I just needed to inform them, and they would try to entertain me with games, conversations, or outdoor activities.
We studied at Kenakena School, where the day started at 9.00 and ended at 15.00. We had two substantial breaks and two brain breaks in each lesson. The school also had morning tea, similar to a lunch break, but it came before lunch. After school, some students used bicycles or scooters, while others walked or took buses. Students typically left the school premises immediately after school, spending their time elsewhere.

I engaged in various activities like basketball, rugby, and others, but the most enjoyable one was kayaking in the river with my roommate and host dad. It was a lot of fun and likely our first and last kayaking trip. One of the most enjoyable trips was to Rainbow's End because it was thrilling and exciting. I highly recommend trying it at least once in your life.
During my time in New Zealand, I made many friends, both Kiwi and Thai, and had enriching experiences with different cultures and lifestyles. Upon returning to Thailand, I noticed an improvement in my English skills. I am grateful to all the staff at NZ Study and everyone in Paraparaumu for their care and support. I cherished every moment and look forward to returning soon.
