IELTS Workshop - 28 July 2023

In an exciting collaboration, IDP and WSC hosted a last-minute workshop at Column Bangkok Hotel, welcoming a diverse group of students from different cities in China who are gearing up for their exam tomorrow at the same venue. The workshop's mission? To equip these enthusiastic learners with all the tricks and tips they need to conquer the test with flying colors!

Throughout the dynamic session, I took on the challenge of steering both the writing and speaking segments, accompanied by the ever-helpful Ajarn Da, who played the role of a brilliant teaching assistant. Ensuring everything ran like clockwork was the talented P. Ple, our photography maestro and workshop facilitator.

These ambitious students all had a shared dream - to achieve outstanding scores and proudly carry them back to their homeland. Some of them already dazzle as fluent English speakers, attending international schools back in China, while others surprised me with their eloquence, mastering English through their interactions with foreign gamers in the gaming world.

Their dedication was evident as they actively engaged in the workshop, eagerly raising their hands to ask questions. Many expressed their eagerness to take the test in this vibrant city and explore its wonders as part of their academic adventure. Some even divulged their aspirations to pursue further studies in the UK. To all of them, I wish the best of luck for tomorrow's exam and a delightful stay in Bangkok. And of course, I can't wait to welcome these bright minds back to Thailand in the future!
