I guest-lectured at Bangkok University's business email writing class. The students, mostly engineers, surprised me!

While some, educated abroad, were naturally interactive, others, with no overseas experience, were equally articulate. Their secret? Video games! Apparently, many honed their English skills through gameplay.

This experience highlights a key takeaway: location isn't everything. Motivation is the true game-changer. Years abroad won't guarantee fluency if the drive to learn is absent.

Conversely, right here in Thailand, dedication can unlock both fluency and accuracy. The key? Finding your learning "playground," whether virtual or otherwise!
